About
In PurSUEt, a one-woman show of one delusional fan's quest to date Sue Perkins, was a sell out show at Edinburgh Fringe 2019 and 2022. More recently, WANTED came to Edinburgh Fringe 2025 to much critical success and a hugely coveted Popcorn Award shortlisting. This three-hander, inspired by true life, is a queer crime caper where two women fell into a life of petty theft in a bid to avenge the world that's left them wanting...
Praise
Critical praise for Eleanor's performance and writing of WANTED, at Edinburgh Fringe 2025
"Based on her own criminal past, Eleanor Higgins' writing is fearless. Her honest and powerful play explores what happens when someone doesn't have any options, when they're angry and overlooked. A beautifully constructed play that reveals itself gradually...writer / performer Eleanor Higgins herself is sensational. What a talent." - Lisa In The Theatre

Higgins portrays the rudderless and at times frantic Erica with aplomb...at its core it is a story about injustice. Gender inequality, wealth division, the criminal justice system and nepotism all come under Higgins’ crosshairs in this comedy-drama." - Broadway Baby
"WANTED is another triumph for Eleanor Higgins and her team, and I look forward to the next slice of bold queer theatre from them." - Lothian Life
"funny yet subtly challenging story...Higgins is consistent and compelling throughout, keeping energy levels high, before managing a hugely poignant twist that stops you in your tracks...It’s a really smart piece of writing and hits with a punch...It’s a believable, entertaining and ultimately thought provoking piece of work that keeps you guessing right to the end" - Everything Theatre
